Worldpac chose Anzenna for AI DLP and insider risk management to stop sensitive data from leaving

Close to 6,000 people keep Worldpac running across more than 320 facilities, and much of their work happens in the browser. Anzenna’s context-aware AI DLP checks every upload there, AI tools included, and handles 99% of its own alerts, so the security team only sees what needs a person.

Exhibit 1

Minutes per task, at true scale

Every bar shares one axis in minutes. A typical investigation went from about 30 minutes to 15, 50% faster, and finding out who owns a device went from about ten minutes to under one.

Where sensitive data can leave

Worldpac ships more than 200,000 part numbers from over 320 locations, and close to 6,000 people keep it running across branches and warehouses. Much of that work happens in the browser, where a sensitive file is one upload away from leaving the company, and that activity creates more alerts than any security team can read one by one.

Exhibit 2

Four ways a sensitive file can leave

One employee, one browser
  • Upload to a web appAnzenna sees it
  • File shared outside the companyAnzenna sees it
  • Upload to an AI toolAnzenna sees it
  • Sign-in to a personal AI accountAnzenna sees it
All four routes start in the same browser, and Anzenna sees each one.

Anzenna gives us visibility into where sensitive data goes in the browser, including into AI websites, and that made it a very easy justification.

DLP that knows the context

Anzenna’s browser extension checks every upload as it happens, whether it’s headed to a web app or an AI tool. Its policies know the business and each person’s role, so most uploads pass with no friction and the extension steps in only when a file breaks policy.

Exhibit 3

How one upload gets decided

An employee uploads a file

Anzenna checks

  1. What’s in the file
  2. Who is sending it
  3. Their role in the company
  4. Where it’s going
  • AllowRoutine work goes through untouched
  • WarnThe employee sees a prompt first
  • BlockThe upload stops inline

Alerts that investigate themselves

Anzenna investigates every alert in the context of the person behind it, including their recent activity and history, and flags only the 1% a human should look at.

The account behind every AI tool

AI is the newest way data leaves, and the same browser view shows which AI tools employees use, from chat tools to AI coding apps and MCP servers, and whether each login is personal or company-managed.

One AI tool, two kinds of login

  • Personal accountOutside company control, and what’s typed in may be used for training.
  • Company-managed accountCovered by the company’s contract and policies.

Now we have one central platform, and it has made life a lot easier. The Anzenna team is always available and there’s constant back and forth, which plays a big role for us.
